Graduated BS in Chemistry (Minor: Chemical Engineer) from Central University of Venezuela in 2003. I have worked as an Assistant Research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California since February 2004, under the supervision of:
Dr. Frank Asaro (performing sample preparation of Archeological samples: i.e. Pottery, for posterior analysis with Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) and X-ray Diffraction.
Dr. Vincent Battaglia, performing characterization of materials used to fabricate rechargeable lithium batteries by Brunauer, Emmet and Teller (BET), and Particle Size Analysis (PSA), and
Dr. Richard E. Russo, the duties I have been performing during my time in Dr. Russo's lab involved the use of laser ablation as a sample introduction technology for chemical analysis using an Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
